Summary of the week

A week of strategy. My first strategic quarterly review, workshop prep, and a trip to Bristol to see family. And Sketchnote week

Dot and Dash

First quarterly review this week. I love a quarterly review but this one is different as it's my own strategic goals. I set this up with Alice as we were both using the PSP method for our businesses. It will be good to recap what we have both achieved in the last few months and see if the goals we have outstanding are still ones we want to have.

I've been deep in session lab. After planning on paper, the session gets put onto Sessionlab as this is where all my workshop design goes. I find this useful as it can be shared with clients, and I can iterate and rework out timings easily. So now the Pathways off the Plateau workshop is ready to be added on. I love the colour coding as I can see what the cadence is of talking, activity, reflecting.

This week was a mentoring call with my Sheffield digital mentee. These mentoring relationships are something I value enormously; I learn so much from other people and their approaches, meanwhile providing some value from experiences they are curious about. I absolutely love mentoring and have done it for years.

Plus, I was selected to be sketchnote ambassador for this year!! and got along to Heather's lettering workshop, which I absolutely loved. She teaches in such an amazing way, in 60 minutes I managed to learn so much. Lettering is so much fun, and I find it really relaxing.

Family time

Trip to Bristol to see family as Feb is a month full of birthdays, so it was great to be home and have some time to decompress. Again, it's a 3 hour-ish drive, so I got some hyper-focus time in to get some work done.

Contract Work

Contract work continues through the week. I'm loving being able to find out how people use services, discovering what the effects are, and the interdependencies. And we can discover how to make improvements.

I wonder... what a quarterly review would look like if I did this with the Skool community, with ND businesses, and my background in service design. I know this would be useful for some people.
