The Freedom to Create: Why I Started My Own Business
When I reflect on why I started my business (again), one word stands out above all others—freedom. The freedom to work on projects I care deeply about, the flexibility to collaborate with inspiring people, and the opportunity to learn and grow in ways I never could have imagined.
For me, entrepreneurship wasn’t just about creating a career; it was about redesigning my life. To take control and to enjoy time I have left to maximise life to the full. When I’m not fully engaged in this work, I feel constrained, restricted, and unbalanced. Life sends me signs, and when I ignore them or stray from my true purpose, the obstacles only multiply. It becomes clear—and yet unclear at the same time. Obstacles provide the clarity that steer you in the direction that you should be going in.
