#17 Hygge, New Connections and a Very Rainy Workshop
Emerging leaders and the gratitude tree

Weeknotes — Monday 10 November—Sunday 16 November 2025

Summary of the week

A week of meetups, new faces, and getting soaked on the way to an evening workshop. Classic November.

Dot and Dash

This week, I had a potential team-building inquiry come in from a prospect, an IT company that had never used a facilitator before but had a referral. A new conversation opening up like that is always exciting.

The Emerging Leaders workshop with Hannah from Leadwell, is in prep mode. Getting the participant leaders workbook finally ready for printing is one of those tasks that takes longer than you expect but matters. The materials people take away shape how they remember the experience long after the event. It shows you care and took the time to make the gathering special.

The workshop ran in the evening on the wettest day of the week. It poured with rain on the way there and back. Absolutely soaked. Brilliant session though. Followed by a debriefing meal at a local Japanese restaurant with Hannah.

Lots of calls this week with potential clients, feedback and initial chats on facilitation work or facilitation work adjacent. It's been a scattered week of talking networking and final workshop prep.

As, there is so much going on I've scattered things on my whats going on board, juggling client work, community volunteering work it's been a busy few months!

Community and Connection

A really lovely week for new connections. We had a meta meet up for meet-up hosts with Sheffield Digital sharing our lessons, things that would be useful for the ecosystem of events that everyone hosts.

Went along to the Sheffield Women in Tech a wonderful community of women working in so many areas, so many tech industries I never knew existed - always finding out new ones.

Skool for Neurodivergent entrepreneurs

Social media challenge session on Skool this week. Building out the community content is something I am enjoying more than I expected. It's keeping me accountable for working on my goals and engaging with ND'ers out there. If you want to join our community and follow all the app development here is the link

I wonder... how scattering my week like this is being productive, feels like I need to review where all my energy is going and what is moving the business forward.

If this resonated, pass it on to someone who might enjoy it. Subscribing is free and you can hop in and out whenever suits you.
